We’re seeking a skilled Marine Systems Integration Engineer to join our client in revolutionising marine design. You’ll play a vital role by leading the integration of supplied and manufactured machinery systems into world-class designs and products.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work from the Feasibility Design to Production Design Stages of company Product Development Process.
• Prepare technical specification and functional requirements for Marine Systems.
• Define key equipment interfaces, quality checks and technical acceptance criteria of supplied equipment and parts.
• Determine through-life support requirements and Design for Maintenance requirements for Marine Systems.
• Lead integration of Gas Turbines, Diesel Engines, Gearboxes, Transmissions and associated Ancillary Systems into Hovercraft and other Marine Products.
• Manage the Marine Systems Design Team.
• Manage the technical aspects of key Supplier performance to integrate their equipment into the craft.
• Work with other engineers to deliver whole craft design intent.
• Achieve Class Approval for Marine Systems

Qualifications & Experience:

• Expert in Marine Machinery Systems including Gas Turbines, Gearboxes and Machinery Control.
• Experienced in integration of Supplier Equipment into Marine Craft.
• Experience of working to Class Regulations and Processes.
• Experience of military marine vessel design a benefit.
• Exceptional Attention to Detail
• Strong Collaborator
