As a Project Engineer, Marine you will undertake marine systems engineering work during the basic and detailed design stage and will translate customer requirements into technical drawings and functional specifications.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design marine systems engineering (main propulsion machinery, auxiliary machinery, and hotel systems) during the concept, basic, and detailed design stage
• Produce technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Support feasibility, concept, and conversion projects.
• Translate customer requirements into functional specifications.
• Ensure high quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Interface with other disciplines to achieve the required project deliverables.
• Help to identify and manage risks, opportunities and lessons learnt during the project.
• Communicate with different equipment suppliers and makers.

Experience:

• B.Sc. in either Naval Architecture, Marine, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A good understanding of ship main machinery, auxiliary systems, and propulsion systems.
• Ability to produce technical specifications, presentations, and drawings.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Class Societies.
• Experience in technical report writing and presentations.
• Good computer skills (AutoCAD, Office 365 Platform)
