Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to join their dynamic team in Victoria, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of project schedules for the purpose of bidding or live project monitoring and control, and liaising with Project Management, Planning and Production teams to ensure capture planning interfaces and dependencies.

Responsibilities:

• Produce bid schedules with input from stakeholders
• Develop and maintain time and resource levelled schedules for projects
• Analyse project schedules to ensure status, accuracy and variances are captured
• Produce and evaluate information from project schedule for management team
• Produce overall project resource labour loading curves
• Produce and maintain cardinal date plan, critical path analysis and key event plan

The ideal candidate brings:

• Exceptional experience working in project scheduling, preferably in an Engineering or Marine environment
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually
• Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels
• Proactive with the ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives
• A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable)
• Proficient user of Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
• Submarine refit / Surface Ship refit experience or large-scale construction experience would be an asset

Expected Salary: $63,055 – $94,583 (CAD)
