Job Title: Financial Controller

JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Controller is responsible for the accounting and controlling requirements of our client’s company, the position reports to General Manager with a dotted line to the Group Financial Controller.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Accounting & controlling

• Accounting of every operation on a daily basis
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and monthly reporting to Group General ledger reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and weekly/monthly internal and group reporting.
• Responsible for annual financial statements and communication with auditors
• Preparation of VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
• Preparation of ZMI VAT returns with UK Tax number
• Current data management in the MRP systems (INFOR M3)
• Control and reporting of Inter-company currency transactions
• Report generation system from the MRP (Report Builder)
• Preparation of Annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts

Treasury management

• Daily management of cash flows
• Weekly update of 4 months rolling cash forecast

Administration others

• Management of business sales orders and invoicing in the ERP
• Human Resources: process payroll using Sage Payroll, monthly pension submissions, primary contact for employee related topics, ONS submissions
• Ensures compliance to internal control and Company / Group internal procedures
• Migration of the IT accounting & control systems (ERP) having consistency across the 2 Companies
• Potential legal merge to organise in the coming 12 to 18 months

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance. CCAB preferred
• Extensive experience in Controlling
• IT skills : ERP (SAP like) – report builder and MS office
• Good knowledge of accounting rules that drive the financial information
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
