The senior operations manager will lead all operational activity across the business unit to safely deliver all required outcomes of the Strategic Maritime Partner in New Zealand, both current and developing as scope grows.
Through driving for breakthrough performance and by establishing a close and productive relationship with the broader customer the team will focus on continuously improving customer satisfaction, the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation.
To achieve this the senior operations manager will leverage regional and functional support to develop robust strategy, building competency and capability across the team
The Senior Operations manager will be responsible for all Delivery programmes across ships and shore based support, Trade teams, and management of subcontractors, facilities, and port operations.
- Degree Qualified in Engineering or significant relevant experience
- Chartered Engineer Status preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Asset Management highly desirable
- Extensive management experience in operational, marine, engineering services, complex asset management or defence based environment.
