Accuracy Control Specialist


  • Education Required: Post-secondary education in Geomatics or Engineering
  • Ability to interpret measurement results and recommend action
  • Solid knowledge and application of statistical techniques
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Leica metrology equipment (Total Station, Laser Scanner, Laser Tracker)
  • Assist readily and be a team player
  • Previous experience with Accuracy Control would be considered an asset


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field surveys using a variety of metrology equipment and software to obtain measurement results and recommend action
  • Proactive, daily interaction with tradespeople to monitor and control the accuracy of structural fabrication as well as equipment installation
  • Apply Statistical Process Control methodology
  • Work closely with Production, Production Engineering & Quality Assurance
  • Work with 2D drawings and within a 3D model environment
  • Follow up on delivery items including measurement records
