Supportability Consultant

Marine People are currently assisting a leading international design, engineering, science, and risk management consultancy on the hiring of a Supportability Consultant.

About the role

Due to our client’s growth, we are looking to speak with Experienced Supportability Engineers, to help support the delivery of a variety of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Programmes and related projects to budget and schedule.

Within this role, you will be involved in a variety of ILS related Engineering tasks, including, but not limited to, ILS Management Planning, Supportability Analysis, Maintenance Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability, and Inventory/Provisioning Management.

The ideal candidate will have exposure or experience in tailoring ILS Programmes, including engagement, including engagement with some of the requisite ILS Planning documentation required to meet the clients project and ILS objectives.

Experience of the UK MoD Supportability Assurance requirements and the governing policies of their support solutions and development tool would be an advantage.

What we are looking for

We are looking to speak with individuals who have a desire to build on their ILS knowledge and experience within Supportability and ILS Management.

Although not essential, it would be an advantage to have demonstrable experience in elements of the ILS spectrum, with a desire to grow into an ILS Practitioner/Supportability Engineer.

This position is directly customer focused, so effective communication skills and ability to present complex information to a range of clients and stakeholders is essential.

Our client values professional qualifications and registration with professional institutions, however, training and support can be provided.

The ideal candidate will need to hold or be eligible to obtain UK security clearance at SC Level.
